WELCOME!

We are a branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust, a registered charity who for the last 25 years has found over 25,000 homes for ex racing greyhounds.

Greyhounds usually retire from racing between 4 and 6 years of age. Some may never have raced or may retire earlier due to injury. Retired greyhounds may go to live with their owners, stay with their trainers for their retirement, or will be looking for a new home with a member of the public.

Greyhounds who come to us live in our kennels, are cared for by us, while we try to find them their new home. Sometimes people who can’t keep a dog at home help us financially by sponsoring a greyhound or taking some out for walks.

We may have the perfect pet waiting for you now so please give us a little of your time and look at more……………

OUR AIMS ARE SIMPLE:

• to successfully home as many greyhounds as possible

 
• to inform the public about retired greyhounds as pets

 
• to offer support and advice for any greyhound owner

!! PLEASE HELP !!

We are a very small branch no longer attached to a greyhound stadium. This means all our fund raising/publicity etc is entirely dependent on our efforts and those of our supporters.

If we wish to continue to distribute our Newsletter (now a circulation of 250 and growing), supply leads/collars and muzzles for our adopted greyhounds etc and send out leaflets to vets surgeries etc we need more funds. Envelopes, Stamps, Paper all cost money !!!!!!!!!!!!

Please help us by gifts of 1st Class Stamps, D4 Envelopes, Money, Sponsorships and suitable items for raffle prizes etc. Also you can support us by buying goods/Christmas Cards etc as these sales all earn us income.

As well as financial help we need YOU and your GREYHOUND to support us at MEET and GREETS/SPONSORED WALKS etc. It is also really nice to see everyone and get a chance to catch up on news.
