THE CHRISTMAS FAIR
The fair at Dunchurch Village Hall was yet again a great success with a good turnout from the public and our supporters! We filled the hall with various stalls selling a wide range of products for dogs and humans. The dogs even joined in the fun with many coming dressed up in their Santa outfits or Christmas attire! Mandy and Maureen did a brilliant job at keeping us all refreshed with tea/coffee and lovely fresh cakes made by Sue Reeve.
Many Thanks to all our helpers and their dogs who manned our stalls and set up / packed up on the day and to all the other supporters who came to join us with their own goods and stalls.

- Dogs Homed NOVEMBER - DECEMBER
JOJO (OOaar Agogo) this lovely boy found a great family with Carole & David Tallis and their 3 children. Sadly their GS/Collie Cross Dog died and they wanted to give another dog a lovely home. Molly their 12yr old daughter fell in love with Jojo and he is now a much loved member of the family.
ROBBIE & SHAY (Lisnakill Robbie & Lisnakill Shay) These lucky boys both endeared themselves so much to Joyce and John Dorricott that they couldn't decide between them and ended up homing them as a pair with delighted us as they have always been together. A bit of training with regard to their parakeet was needed and they have both settled in beautifully.
MISSY (Ooaar Howbizarre) Howard Wheatley, now retired with two adult children Laura and Rob living at home, wanted a new dog as he hadn't owned one for 9 years and felt the time was right now he had more time to devote to one. Missy showed them what a gentle, loving girl she can be although she is very obedient and has become a much loved family member very quickly.
MAZ & FREDDIE (Edembet Maz & Edembet Freddie) came as a pair and always seemed the perfect couple. Freddie big, gentle and laid back - Maz the 'Queen Bee' but also with a lovely nature. Luckily for them Selina & Roy Smyth and their children Francesca, Christopher and Elaine were ready to home a pair of dogs. Maisie, the rabbit, possibly wasn't so sure but Maz is responding well to the very useful word 'NO!'.
